What dance styles do we offer?

Currently DANCECORP offers Freestyle, Disco and Disco Freestyle, Contemporary, Freestyle Acrobatics Hip Hop. Freestyle is inclusive of Slowdance, Hustle, Rock ‘n Roll, and Freestyle.


What should student wear to classes and private lessons?

Students should always be appropriately dressed for class and should allow students free range of movement. Under no circumstances do we allow jeans, skirts or dresses in class. Dancers must wear the correct dance shoes as informed by their instructor. Socks with rubber grips and barefoot are acceptable. Please click here for more details.


From what age do we accept students?

Dancers can being from the early age of 3!


Am I too old to dance?

Contrary to belief, anyone, at any age, can learn to dance. Certain techniques may be challenging but with dedication and hard work anything is possible! Click here to see our timetable and find a class that is right for you.


Are spectators allowed in class?

We would ecourage any student under the age of 7 to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We do not restict spectators, we only ask that if you insist on sitting in on classes that you adhear to the rules as disclosed in the terms and conditions.

With regards to private lessons we ask that you are respectful of the trainer and student as increaded levels of noise can be distrating.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, strict measures have been put into place to mitigate the spread of  the Coronavirus Disease. During this period, Under no circumstances do we allow spectators, however, under strict supervision whereby we can control ‘Social distancing’ within the studio then we can continue to only allow Parents or Legal Guardians into the studio when accompanying a students under the age of 7.

Regardless of the Circumstances, it is suggested that you always ask for permission first rather than making the assumption.


How do our terms operate?

We operate accourding to the govenment school terms with slight variations to ensure each term consists of an average of 10 weeks of dancing. Click here to view our timetable.


Is the studio open during school holidays?

DANCECORP contines to host private lessons during the holidays for competitive students and 1 week of free 90 min ‘Incentive Holiday Classes’ with large focus on technical training. Open to all students from 17h00 – 18h30, Monday to Thursday. Letters are always sent out in advance of the holidays to inform all students, parents and guardians of the holiday schedule.


Will we be adding more dance styles?

DANCECORP endevours to evolve and expand its range of dance styles on offer as the demand grows.
