DANCECORP – Newsletter 05/06/2018
05 June 2018
Letter from the MD
Greetings Students, Parents, and Guardians.
Term is nearing its end and holidays are fast approaching. I do intend on keeping the newsletter as short as possible. . . here I go!
It should be noted that all classes with myself will conclude on the 19th June 2018. this is due to the fact that Logan and I will be jetting off to attend the 2018 World Freestyle Dance Championships in Blackpool. All private lessons with Shannon will resume as per normal till the 22nd June 2018 when schools break up. I will be returning on the 27 June to resume the regular Holiday Classes.
Holiday Classes, as mentioned above have become a reoccurring standard within the studio and is available to all students throughout the holiday, free of charge. The classes will begin on the 27th June 2018 and conclude on the 6th July 2018. Classes will be from 17h00-18h30 daily. Please do note that while we do love hosting theses classes, Teachers are in need of a break too. therefore I will be taking the final week of holidays off for some much needed rehabilitation, rest and recovery. Any classes that need to be made up for from term 2 will be scheduled in. I will send out a full holiday programme out as soon as I have completed it.
Then I must add, I am super proud of our competitors and their overall performance at competitions of late.We have been achieving some outstanding results on a weekly basis. iI would no doubt love to share this information with you, which is why i am compiling a list of results that we will now include on a new featured page. As soon as I have finished this I will inform everyone of it.
Lastly, I would extend my humble request again, If anyone is or has the ability to assist Logan and I with sponsorships for the 2018 World Freestyle Dance Championship we would gladly appreciate any small donations. As was mentioned in my previous letter while we have had our flights and accommodation paid for we are really looking for small contributions to our travel expenses while we are in England. Any funds raised over and above that will offset the cost of our flights and accommodation and thereafter be put in a separate account should next time and student go overseas we are able to make a contribution. Its high time I implement a programme to reinforce an ongoing positive trend that would enable our qualifiers to reach their goals.
Thanking you as always . . .

Featured Youtube Channel – Haley Pham
Once again I am featuring a video from Haley Pham, This one focus on the important things that dancer should do daily to improve. Seems quite fitting with holidays coming up and a way in which to stay on top of the game whilst away or when you actually have nothing better to do :-).
