DANCECORP – Newsletter 19/06/2018
19 June 2018
Letter from the MD
Greetings Students, Parents, and Guardians.
This newsletter does come a little earlier than usual due to holidays beginning this week and with Logan and I flying overseas tomorrow to take part in the 2018 World Freestyle Dance Championships in Blackpool, UK. This message will be short and simple with the intention of releasing another, more detailed newsletter upon my return.
For those who missed our previous newsletter, as was published on the 5 June 2018, I would like to once again inform everyone of our holiday programme. Holiday Lessons will begin on 27 June 2018 from 17h00 till 18h30 this is for all students of all ages. Private lesson will be available during the holidays from 14h00 till 17h00 for competitive dancers preparing for the upcoming competitions, namely, the Justone Fundraiser and the Classique Freestyle Championships. Private Lesson can be Booked with Shannon, Riandi, Logan and Myself. The Holiday programme will conclude on the 6 July 2018, giving us trainers some much needed recovery time, returning to our regular duties on the 16 July 2018 to begin term 3. Additional catch up lessons will be scheduled in for particular classes that may have been missed. Theses pupils and their respective parents/guardians will be notified via sms/ WhatsApp with proposed class times.
A reminder that invoices for the term 3 will be sent out within the first week of the July 2018. Sadly, no students will be able to attend classes or private lessons in the Term 3 if your accounts for term 2 have not been settled. We are however fully understanding, if any individual is having difficulties, please email Beverly: accounts@dancecorp.co.za so we can assist.
In conclusion of this letter I would like to wish everyone a festive and fun filled holiday. As always, do stay safe and return in the new term with energy. To our precious Logan de Villiers – We, the DANCECORP team! are wishing you the greatest success overseas! You Go Girl!!
“We like to think of our champions and idols as superheroes who were born different from us. We don’t like to think of them as relatively ordinary people who made themselves extraordinary.”
